The Author

Theresa Kledzik, RN, Infant Developmental Nurse Specialist worked for over 4 decades in Pediatrics at Rush Medical Center (Chicago) and at Memorial Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Colorado Springs). She has been certified in Neonatal Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment. Her articles has been published in professional nursing journals, winning a first place award for excellence in writing. She has lectured on infant communication, behavioral assessment, and related topics to parents, nurses and medical staffs in Colorado, Texas, and Kentucky. She has a passion for babies and is grateful to them and their families for the richness they have brought to her life. This book is a culmination of what she has learned.
